naw its just a 35mm I didnt want to delete the airbox and I didnt have the extra cash for the bigger better setup. I know it would have made a much larger difference but I had to put this on my Credit card as it is. I never do that if I can help it.

dude, wtf is the point of getting a 35? you should have gotten a 38, and you dont have to mod the airbox, it just takes a few minutes to get the airbox boot on the carb...the 38 will give you quite a bit more hp and throttle response....you might get a little more snap from that carb....

Several reasons, The larger carb DOES have to have the airbox removed, and it cost alot more. I wasnt after a bunch of power, I am just trying to get everything smoothed out for the upcoming ride. The machine is plenty strong enough and I like it quite a bit with all the other already added mods.

you don't have to ditch the airbox for a 38 a/s, I had one for 2 years and now I have a 39 pwk, I have my airbox. use a heatgun and heat around the end of the boot, then take a beer bottle and use the part where you drink out of it and push it into the boot, push it in till it almost is all the way in, take it, and stick the other end in. Once you got it in, take the boot with the bottle in it and put it in the freezer, about 10 minutes and the boot will be ready for the bigger carb, a beer bottle(I used a corona) is almost identical to the size of a 38/39mm carb. I don't think a 35 a/s and 38 a/s are much different in price. Did you get the correct throttle cable for that carb?

Yep. I had a hell of a time making it work until I bought a heatgun. After that I just did the heat, cold, heat, cold cycle a few times and now it slips right on and off with ease.

very nice...i think that a 35 will work just fine. bigger carbs are better but they use more gas too. gas prices are comin down but its still too high to be wastin

Yes, ESR sent me the correct cable with the carb. They even asked for the list of mods that the machine has, then a tech jetted the carb and set the needle as close to what i needed as they could without actually riding or seeing the machine. Most helpful people i have ever delt with. I stand corrected on the Airbox system.
