found a 350X and 200X for $175

well i might have come up on one hell of a deal. My buddy gave me a # to a guy in a nearby town that works on atc's and atv's on the side and for himself and kinda sells parts on the side. Said he called him about a 110 carb and he told him he had a complete 185s a 200es and 3 200x's and 1 350X. Said he considered 2 of the 200x's and the 350X parts bikes. Anyways i asked him what he wanted for the 350X and he said hed take $100 I was like DAMN! he said it almost complete. its a 85 everythign is there but the seat, rear fenders and the topend of the motor but other than that its solid. the 200x is a 83 and he said its complete everything is there just needs to be put back togather and probably soem motor work. Said it was running bout 6 months ago and he took it aparts so he could use some parts on his 85 200X that hes building up. Told me he wanted $75 for it. Told him id trade hime a nice 84 110 and he said well work something out. Either way if he dosnt want to trade i know for shure im gonna pick the 350X up for shure.

Why does this crap never happen to me? I know people that would pay 100 bucks for the 350X wheels, much less an almost complete trike. You oughtta pick up the 185s for sure, but I am partial to hard tails.

There were just 2 big reds in the want ad. $1,500 each. One was a 1986 250es. The other was a 1987 250es! Said both were all original in mint condition, been in storage for years! I wish I had the money. That '87 would of been mine.
