New to the board

my old 84 200es always used to shift like a dream. until I used it on a 48 inch york rake on my driveway for a couple hrs. now it 's a MEAN shifting son of a beech. no noise or missing gears but the force put on the gear shift lever; ya won't be riding it barefoot for sure... any thoughts? still a reliable rig, just haven't had it out of 1st,2nd or3rd gear in several months.

maybe start by re-adjusting your clutch freeplay.. and try again..
otherwise.. gulp.... shift forks ???
Currently :
82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
84 125 M - The Mini-SXnot running yet. but won't be long.
