New to the board
I don't know what is going on i randomly loose gears and sometimes i need to shift up and then slide the shifter down a little bit and then i have more gears i looked at the clutch plates and as far as i could tell the looked ok but i could be work and when i pulled it apart the spring on the shift mechinism was off so i put it on and still FUBARed please help

Not real familiar with Kawis -But it sounds like your shift forks are going "Too-Far"
Look to see what stops them- and it should make sense
Buy American! Unless your only option is a HARLEY.
