Does anyone know if a shift shaft on a 200s will fit my 250es?

Although kinda close looking there are splines missing on the 200 modle that need to be there on the 250 modle. The gear shift plates ( or arms ) are different too.
Whats up with yours ,,, sticking shifter or the threads for the lever messed up ???

the shaft has broke off.......dont aski had one from a 200 lying around and thouht I would ask. thanks
