    Buying 1985 Tri-z

Well, you may have known that i have been looking for a new, bigger trike to upgrade from the 70. ive found her

i cant wait any longer to tell some more people its official im going to pick up my 85 Tri-z on saturday. Shes not the greatest looker but she will be a great project for me to do. I saw her in a picture of a 70 for sale on ebay and i emailed the guy asking if he was interested in selling it.shes costing me $725 but i intend to spend a bit working on it to get it back looking stock, so painting the frame and fork boots etc. These are the pictures of her that i have right now. She is a runner and all she needs to ride are pads fluid and a little attention, but as i said i will be doing a fair bit of work to her. I will keep you updated and post some more pics when i have picked it up and got her cleaned up!

Thats a nice looking Z. I'll bet she looks pretty good under all that muck. Not a bad price either. Good luck with it and let me know if you need any parts for it. Anything. I have enough parts to make like 5 TRI-Z's and I have to make room in my garage for other stuff. I can have my wife or brother mail them to you. Oh, and the parts are free of charge. Just pay for shiiping. Welcome to the world of 250cc 2 strokes.

    Yamaha's tri-z does it too!

Hahaha man, holy crap! Thats almost like when MIK6 went and brought 2 Tecates home in a Jeep cherokee. I'm guessing that the rear view mirror visibility was low Have fun putting it back together and taking it on its first real ride.
