Pic of My Hondaline headlight guard. This thing is ugly

My new Hoindaline headlight guard came today. I seem to want all of the 250R Hondaline accessorys and buy them when I find them. I put the guard on tonight and I could not get it off fast enough. It makes my bike look horrible. I took it off and put it in my "Honda box" with all of the other Hondaline parts that are to ugly to put on. A while ago I bought the optional lens grill and together they are really bad. I did not take a picture of the grill because it is still in the original bag. I have seen some pictures of bikes and it looks good, but not on my bike. It just looks to bulky. It makes it look like my Big Red. I like it with a cleaner look. Anyway see for yourself.

I don't think that looks bad. I think it looks alot better but thats me and it's not my choice. What are you going to do with it now????? I agree about the lens grill and the guard not looking good together but with just the guard it looks awesome.

i have a chrome one just like that,, it doesn't bother me that much,,, untli i rode at night,,,, the reflection off the top bar which is over the light almost blinds you. i had to put black tape on it so i could see ,,,,,

I had a red one on mine and I think it was fine. But I didnt care for the looks as much as I wanted it to protect my headlight....which it has done! lol

I hated mine when I first installed it. but it grew on me after a while...



I liked the way this guard looked, but I got that glare KASEY was talking about...

I have a red one on mine, I think the red ones blend in more, and don't stick out as much as the black ones. No wheres near as ugly as the '81-'82 250R facemask headlight guards, now that's ugly.

Mine was originally red with three bars brazed on for a "grill". They have fallen off over the years just leaving the brazing bead behind. I recently sanded it smooth and had it PC'ed trans red. I don't think it's ever saved my headlight but it makes a very functional grab bar for the front.

You guys are right, those chrome ones do make the light shine back into your face, but they're way to cool looking to take off.

I like the Hondaline "one peice" 350x guard the best.
