    Big Red Sale Question

I'm looking to sell my 85 Big Red. The electric start works, but the battery is garbage so it needs a new battery. The rear fenders are also shotty, they have been riveted together and even those are in need of attention. Now, should I pick up the battery and rear fenders and then put it for sale, or put it for sale as is right now? Thanks for your opinions in advance here folks.

You can get a set of JL ATV rear big red fenders to make it look great and get a cheap lawn battery and you will get tons more for it. The extra 150$ you might spend doing this, well net you alot more in the long run....JMHO.

I am with Scottzj on this, as long as you don't already have tons of money into it.

They don't make replacement fenders for those anymore so your only bet would be used ones and they cost alot.

They do still still make rear fenders for the '85-'87 Big Reds, at least I know Dennis Kirk still has them listed. I just looked in there catalog. Now I do know they don't make rear fenders for the older Big Reds.
