I want it for exactly why thedeatons said. I think it's cool and unique. I have a 200X roller that I will build, an 85 250R and 85 350X and just sold my 04 450R and will be getting an 06 in the spring. I'm not looking for a suspended 185 to race it or anything and I know any of the bikes I just mentioned are far superior but that not why I want it. I'm looking for a unique project plus I have tons of 185 and 200 parts so this won't cost me much at all.

This ISN"T a '69 Yenko.... More like a '84 mustang with 4 cylinder wanting to be a BOSS 302. History... Why don't you look for a ATC 110 with alot of chrome, paddels, and a bandito seat cover, it'll have more HISTORY.

That's the problem with the people that weren't there to live it!

Not sure what you're getting at here... it was a simple analogy. Just because I never owned one doesn't mean that it is more or less unique and special in it's own right... Surely the fact that it is a custom frame built in So-Cal for a trike is worth something to someone who would like to see this stuff kept alive.... Considering I have seen more Banditos than these frames makes me think these are even more rare....

Sorry. I didn't mean anything by it. I'd still kill for a '69 Yenko though....

Okay, no worries then!! Believe it or not, my buddy had a '69 Yenko clone a few years back.... The guy he bought it from bought all the Yenko parts from one that was in the junkyard, so you couldn't tell the difference.... He said show hosts used to run up to the car at car shows with VIN idea books to see if it was real.... It was a nice ride.... He sold it for ~$10,500 a few years back....

Man, I sure would like to pick up one of those seats with the stripe material. When I was a kid, they seemed to be all the rage at the dunes back in the late 70's and early eighties.
