rescue 2-2-5
i was going to my bosses house last weekend, when i spotted some sky blue plastic sticking out of a pile of leaves. i was bumming cause i couldn't stop, but i knew it was a 225.i went back a few days later and checked it out,and it was rough.the kid that had it tried to take the rear axle out and couldn't figure it out so he disconnected the shaft and cut the swingarm in half(dumd ass).this thing looked like a dead animal on the side of the road,so i had to have it,he wanted 40 bucks or b/o,,i said i'd haul it away and he said thats the best offer he's had so i got it for free.i rushed it to the o.r.(my garage)i cleaned the tank and carb, gave it fresh oil.the recoil starter was missing it guts and i assumed the starter wouldn't work,i hooked up my sled battery and WOW it's cranking,it needed a little sniff of either, but it fired up and went into a smooth idle,,runs great. im gonna tear down the rear end today and get it ready for the weld shop
