What is the stock main jet in a 230 quadsport?
I might be wrong but ive noticed that sometimes the main jet size is close to Half the cc's of the bike. 230 cc's probably close to a 115 or so. Not sure Just my opinion. My raptor has 660 cc's and both main jets added up to 275 so its kind of close. I just said this to give you a range and get you thinking maybe in the right spot. But im currently running a 165 and 170 which is 335 and my bike runs great.
Do a plug chop and do it properly.Originally Posted by 250sxwheeliepop

modded6602fast is talking about mikunis, stock raptor carbs. Numbers vary greatly from one carb to another. My dyno jet kit main jets are equal to a higher number gytr jet kit. Too many variables for a simple rule of thumb like half cc's.
I got nothing...
Im not saying its for all bikes because i dont know all of the types of bikes or how crazy the manufacturers built them. Its just what ive kind of noticed on my 300ex, raptor, Dirtbikes and other friends 4 wheelers. It waas just something to maybe help him out, just an idea ya know. My trx300ex was a 115 stock jet and i know have it at a 150. My raptor was like a 135 and 140 i think=275 so its kind of close to the cc's of the bike.
yeah i guess that would work on the half the cc size, but what if ya have a banshee. lets see. 350 ccs and 2- 240 main jets? i guess the half system dont work there.lol
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...
