    Talking My custom Seat cover

Well I got it from Justin ( 2XTREME) today. I sent out my seat to him so he could make it as tight as possible and also give it the right touch. He was cool because I gave him a drawing of what I wanted and once he saw that it wouldn't look really good on my seat, becaue it was too short, he asked if he could change it to this pattern which is pretty close to what I colored but fits the short seat better. Its gonna look awesome. Thanks man! First 2 are of the seat. The last one is my design.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was that?
I might have to get my seat re-done with my own design next summer to match the new plastics and all.

They are all hand crafted(of course I use an industrial sewing machine)but the designs, covers, and cutting is all done by hand.No computerized machines.I draw all of my own designs,Or the customer can use there own design.I charge $75 shipped for a design down both sides in customers choise of colors. The only thing you have to do is ship it to me.I will have the seat for less than 2 days before shipping it back.I like to discuss designs and colors via email before you ship me the seat. This makes the process a lot quicker when it arrives.
    Thanks,

Hmm. I'll have to start thinking of a design so I can ship my seat out to you next summer to get it re-done when I try to finish up the odds and ends on my SX.
What kind of material do you use?

    I use a carbon fiber vinyl.It comes in Red,2 Blues,Charcoal,Black,Yellow,White,
Copper,Purple,Orange, and some other odd colors.I can Get pretty much any color. This carbon fiber material looks the best.I can also do a gripper top which is what I usually do.On trikes alot of guys want regular vinyl so they can slide on the seat for body english. You can go to the link below my signature to view more seats.Click on the word pictures on the left to view all of the seats. There are four pages.

How come you cant just make a seat cover and ship it so the buyer can install it?
that would save us the $15 in shipping you the seat and having it shipped back. vs just shipping the seat cover by itslef witch would cost like $5 Thats basicly the main reason ive not purchased one. Because the quality looks great

I'm sure he would just make it and send it to you if you wanted. But its easier to have the seat available to size the cover from. And they also prefer to put it on themselves, because you may not put it on right and it would be lopsided or whatever.

Can you replace the foam filler also?? My 225DX was left outside once during a rain storm with a rip in the seat, so now it looks nasty.

    See what I mean??

As far as making a cover and sending it out,It just depends on if I have a pattern in stock for that make and model of machine. Most of the the trikes I don't.I do like to have the seat to do a cover.Just becuase I can make the cover to fit just right against the foam.I can also stretch it and make it just right like wheeliepop said.I can do alot on foam repair,I repaired wheeliepop's the best I could,It was just pretty broke down.I would love to mass produce covers and just sell them uninstalled,But they don't turn out the best that they could be.
