Looking good Dove, Gotta love them R's. What did you decide to do for the mods to the one R you were talking about in the other thread? Im very curious to find out

I'm going with the ESR 310 non powervalved kit with the ESR atc 5 pipe and silencer, the 36mm mikuni tmx carb with the adapter for the stock airbox. I also am getting a durablue =4 axle and some new tires. Should be done next month. Might go with some white plastic too. It should haul when it's all done

Why no powervalve? I was wishing for a powervalve all weekend. My R is all top end with just about nothing on the bottom. Gets kind of annoying.

Thw powervalved cylinder he offers is several hundred dollars more. I know it would work great but would rather spend that extra cash on the axle. I also don't want to mess with cleaning the powervalve, they would stick on honda cr 250's from getting dirty. I'll call them up, maybe they are having a thanksgiving sale, I'll let you know how it works out.

Where did you get the racks behind the seats? I'd like to get one for my 200x.

the 6 pack racks came with the trikes. I don't think they make those old chrome ones anymore. I think PRM makes a nice one still

dove i think you should go with a bigger carb. I mean thats 2mm more than a stock carb for a race built cylinder. I say opt with a 40mm flatslide

I am not 100% sure on the carb size yet. When I told ESR what I was doing they suggested 36 or I think 38 for desert trail riding and ocasional duning with the stock airbox. We'll see what happens.

deathman53 has a powervalved LRD top end. You might wanna ask him how it's been maintenance wise. Red Rider has one as well but his was a CR top end with a modded ATC lower end.
