    2WD Snowplow vehicle

Has anyone had any expierence with a 2wd quad for plowing snow? How do they work, how deep before they spin, do tire chains help. Also i noticed that cycle country makes plows mount kits for sport atv's with reverse like 250x,300EX, Warrior, anyone ever tried a plow on those?

    Thanks

That's what I did all last season and it worked fine. I used a small quad too, a little LT160. It worked pretty damn good. I never tested the limits of it because the drive is too long to chance it but it was tossing 4-6" with ease. Chains are a must and 4 wheel drive is better but I wouldn't hesitate mounting a small plow to any of the quads you mentioned.

I have used a kawasaki 220 boyou with a plow before and that was 2wd. It worked fine with alittle weight on the back rack. get tire chains too if you are going to do this.
