I heard some were that you could mount it backwards on the trike, with reverse.

I have 125m with the sub tran. and I mounted one on it, it is kind of redneck. I will have some pics of it after a while. Although I dont have reverse I do have a rear grabbar. I wont be getting snow for probably 2 or 3 days to test it so I was just wondering how it would work. And I think I am going to chain it, ill build my own chains, cost to much to buy them premade. Ill make a rough drawing on paint of what it looks like. Hope it works, has anyone ever tried?

Check out the video. I have studded tires. We plow out our ice racing tracks with it.

Saddly. Rather slow. The running machines have been taking $$ priority over the projects. As far as the 500, I've basically been doing stuff that doesnt cost alot. Working on the seat cover with my sister, I make the patterns and cut out the material and she sews everything up (two of my tri-motos had such custom covers you can see on my site).

The bulk of the big work is pretty much done, now its mainly the small stuff that needs completeing one peice at a time. I need to make a spacer disc for the front brake disc, get a front caliper, get a rear brake line, need 400ex pegs to graft on to the CR ones...you get the picture...just little bits apeices slow but steady...that and I've been so busy with work and stuf. I hardly have any time to work on it.

Next I've been working on an air box for the thing. I started reshaping a 96 CR500 air box but that went poorly so I'm considering a custom aluminum one...only problem is that Mr. Cart my welder isn't really into doing the tedious grunt welding like that. He's all about frames and swing arms and that kinda stuff but welding aluminum sheets together into a box is kinda mundane grunt work if you know what i mean. I hate to ask him to do that. So I dunno. its still on the drawing table right now. I'm also considering carb otions and really thinking about tearing the top end back off for the decrompression kit on ebay. i dunno. I think it will really be a help since I'm using a blaster kicker now to clear the rear fenders.
