ID:	134544Just installed the chronometer earlier today, was easier to wire up than I thought...was the same wire configuration as the speedo head. It also has a backlight(greenish) which I was glad to see on there. I think my Big Red is now a "goldwing" edition with all the crap I put on it Not sure if there's any more room to accessorize it now haha.

Thanks man...haha, yeah running out of room for things on there. Well if I ever obtain one of those worklights, I'd prob. be able to mount it on the upper lip of the front rack in front and underneath the speedo bracket and all. Hey, you find me another worklight and I'll find you another chronometer-deal? haha

Love it!!! So, did you ever figure out if it is a true ATC one or if it is some type of motorcycle part? Either way... looks great! I gotta start finding more 250es stuff now... hahaha

Hey Phil, well the chronometer itself is the same for both the atc's and motorcycles but the mounting kits and installation instructions are the things that are different. I compared the pics and all from old Honda brochures to make sure they were the same before I bought this chronometer-which came with instructions to mount it directly on a gold wing. For the atc's, they sold a separate mounting kit which didn't come with mine...that's the only difference though.

Hey Dan, I really don't have many extra parts laying around except for a few nuts and bolts here and there...sold most extra major parts after the restore was finished. Let me know what you'll need and I'll keep my eye open for it.

Hey John, I have tested out some of the functions for it so far...it came with a little book telling about all the functions and how to use them. I'm definitely going to use the hours of use function to keep track of time for oil changes and what not. Would have been great to put one of these on a bike when it was new to show hours of use haha.

Yeah, not sure if I will be able to do everything at once on this thing...

I'm missing the front rack and maybe some hardware, and both hand brake levers. I've been shopping ebay pretty hard this past week. Thanx

From what I can gather, it seems that you can set the counter let's say after an oil change and you first go riding with the new oil, you can then pause it when you're done riding then resume it the next time you ride...in other words you will know when you have ridden for 30 hours which is when it is time to change the oil again-supposively. You can use it for many applications, that just came to mind first.
