    atc 90 dont like to start. why?

    its hard to get running but once it starts it will start first pull inless it sits for a hour or more

    its a 1970? atc 90

    it did this when it was hot out too

    mabye its the timing, or the points are shot

    Hard start is usually ignition problems, service manual time. POints are best tested with an 8 pound ! Just make sure the spark plug is clean (insulator is not black or covered with gas or oil) before fooling with the points.

    Also look around the carburetor for air leaks, especially the intake manifold and top of carb where the throttle cable goes in.
