in need of upgraded carb for honda 300 4x4

i have a '97 honda 300 4x4 and would like to know what options i have as an upgrade for the carb. (what better one will fit) i mainly just want power at the lowend, i have other stuff to ride if i want to go fast. right now i have a power kit (dynojet kit w/k&N filter and a prefilter) and full supertrapp exhaust. the reason i think i need an upgrade is because sometimes the only way i can make it up a hill (steep and sandy) with no room to get a run at it is to start out in 2nd and it'll just barely make it or bog out. and the original carb has a vac. slide which i don't like. and i guess a cam is a possiblity but i don't think i need one just yet and having it bored is not at option for me. thanks for any ideas

I've been kicking around the idea of dropping a 350x carb in mine. but she runs to darn good to fart with it. I might do a big bore for it when she gets tired. But for now, I think a cam would do it more good.
