Help No Spark 1982 Honda 200

I bought a 200 honda and it has no spark.I also have a 82 185s so I changed the coil or box that the spark plug wire goes to with the one form the 185s and that didnt work so then I took off that cover that says cdi or the little cover that the 2 bolts are holding it and 2 wires run out. There a little black box with two wires i changed that that didnt work.Im not familiar with all the iginition parts on these three wheelers is there any digrams that I could look at that would tell me where and what the parts are any links i could go to.Now under the pull rope theres iginition parts in there to right. What do i look for or what could be wrong in there.
    THINGS I TRIED
    different plug wire
the box the spark plug wire goes to (coil I think)
Under the cdi cover that little black box with the 2 wires changed that looks like a relay.
    WHAT SHOULD I TRY NEXT

I agree 100%! The Honda 185-200's are known to burn exciter coil ( 1/2 of the stator ). Do a search of the forums for "Honda 200 stator" or "Honda Exciter Coil". All the info to check your stator will be in quite a few of the results the search pulls up.

...and make best friends with a wiring diagram:

beg borrow or steal a volt-ohm meter, its the minimum you need for test equipment, guessing can get expensive in a hurry.
