so the 200x steering stem is shorter than the 110 so you lengthened it by grinding and tapping the bolt into the steering stem and welded it. IS that right so far?

I'll have to drop my front end off and see how big of a job it is. I have almost a complete 200x front end (just need the bottom tripple clamps) that I could use to do it.

Thats about it, If I were you by a set of 110 forks off of ebay, you can probaly get a set really dirt cheap, that way you don't screw up your forks incase you want to go back, I used a old set that were bent and going to the trash anyway just to see if it could be done,

Yes, you will have to cut them out. The 110 stem is welded to trees originally, cut it out grind down excess so it looks nice

Anyone know the length of the 110 stem? I'd just like to modify the 200x frontend I have to fit the 110 without rewelding a stem on there.

Just curious, what would you charge to do it for me? I don't mind doing it for myself, but I have a few things that need to be done first...

Well If you want When I make up the tripple tree setup for the 200x front end I could just send you the tree, you send me a stock one and you would be set. Or do you need the whole front end?
