We use the thin ones for a cheaper"more compresioned" engine, unless you can get somebody to do your head for you ... Part No. 12254-KZ3-000..... I Can't remember the year CR,i think it was 86 or 88 ? ...

Dirtbike, I had my ATC head milled about 18 years ago for extra compression while still using the stock ATC head gasket. Then about 16 years ago, I switched to a CR cylinder and have been running the thinner CR headgasket which increases compression even more. I use a 1990 CR headgasket.

I used a ATC gasket but ground the rivets and threw the steel center plate away and use just one thin layer. It's much thinner than the CR gasket and you also get 2 gaskets for the price of one. Runs fine on pump gas too.

Yep, just that it wont seal like the original gasket, so the head and deck have to be nice n flat, and torqued carefully.
