    want more sound!

    i got a honda ATC Big Red 200 and i want it to sound more loud! i want to wake up all my neightbor when i come at night!!! lol

    Just fabricate some straight pipes for it. If I were you that is what I would do.

    I have never heard a cobra pipe, i think * can get that one 2 , but the paint sux ***** and it burns right off when you just out it on.

    Yeah..just fab up some pipes from the header and have as few bends as possible...and make the bends you do have gentle. I did that for my little 125M and it's plenty loud for what it is. My cousin did the same on his 250SX, but used FMF cr125 (same as my M) and place them on either side from the header back. I wish I had pics to show you what I meant but its loud!

    Oh, and if you do do this, dont be surprised if you have to rejet

    not good for trike/public relations lol but i just cut my spark arrester of and put car tubing where it went, sounded throatier
    1983 Honda ATC 200x-shes a beater

    Past Rides:
    1982 ATC Big Red 200e (miss it more than i thought i would)
    1985 200x rode it for about a mile

    Just cut the spark arreste off your stock pipe, if im thinkin of the right pipe it has like a little spark arrester stickin out and the actual can is Huge, well if you cut open the big round part they sound wicked deep sounds.

    I agree, loud pipes only piss people off and cause more problems for those of us that do care about our sport and it's image. Grow up!!!

    I dont like loud pipes either.. Although I will admit i like a throaty deep powerful sound but nothing that will wake neighbors.. thats just asking for trouble..
