    Tire mounting troubles....

    Had the rims powdercoated so I had the local car repair guy remove the tires (25x12x9) then mount them back up.....now two are leaking air pressure from the rim lip, I'm going back to have them fixed but what could have gone wrong in the first place? Is there any advice I could give to him?, I actually feel bad because he gave me a nice deal on the work to begin with.

    Take a wire brush to the Inside of the lip and take the powdercoat off, or use bead sealer on it.
