    The neg. wire off the battery,where does go to

    I am putting back together my 250es big red.Now the neg. wire off the battery where does it get bolted to.I know on the engine,but where.Does it matter.let me know please.Thanks......svo58

    why is yours not attached to the bike ? Look at the lenght and consider your options.. i'm going to the garage in a bit so i can check if you don't make a discovery !! lol..
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    the negative ( - ) goes to the frame, for ground, well im my bike it does.

    yea, i belive negitive is always ground. so the negitive wire should be connected to the frame or something.
