    ChrisTmas early? Big red style!

Well it looks like service honda does have some OEM parts still! hehehe I just picked up a complete set of OEM Big red tires for a pretty good price....or atleast I thought til talkin with onestopatv(aka rangerover).......he has the better deals than service honda.
But anyway, I got them in and going to look sweet on the 87 big red I get from ARK. I just need to get the compelte OEM plastic from onestopatv to make it a super sweet MINT big red.

Heck I never knew big red tires actually had this much tread! ROFL

I was going to order some tires from Service Honda until they said they'd charge me $15 a piece to ship them! Last Christmas (or was it Easter Swiney?).. I stopped at an old Honda dealer in MI and bought 4 H-trak's R903's and a PEM Dunlop 83-84R front tire. The shipping of all 5 tires was $15! Made my decision much easier then to ple to the roof in my Subaru and go through C eh N eh D eh customs.

So Scott... you get my pm this morning??

Yeah I understand that Bruce and the funny thing is they put them all in this one big box....so not sure how they can charge you 15$ each tire when they come shipped together. I dont think they charged me but 15$ for the entire shipment. Yes I got your message and thanks for the parts.

i ordered 4 new tires for my big red. three for me and one more for todd (2ooxman) they just put a sticker on the tire and shipped it with the white plastic band to hold the tire smooshed together. three showed up in one day the other one came a few days later. i have no idea what shipping was. it was a big order. not only tires bunch of other crap. mine are all mounted up. the tires i had had on it,didnt have very much wear on them. but i wanted new tires to last another 20 years. now if i can just get the nerve to buy all new plastic too!!!!!!!!!! gotta finish some of these other bikes first!! tooooo many trikes in pieces. i hope i dont put yamaha parts on the 250r and honda parts on my triz!!

Those are great for the OEM look! I had them and liked them in most applications, only downside honestly is they are a tad on the narrow side-for the rear.

I just went to a place for the first time today here in Spencerport NY called Hollink motor sports (been there 20+ yrs ) its all 4 wheeler stuff for the most part I saw those tires $82 a piece I was like no thanks....lol....so anyways I bought some stuff the guy says really does work (SC1 clear coat)he said just take some 1000 or 1500 grit sand paper and lightly sand old nasty faded fenders then spray a light coat of this on them it will shine them just like new and stay for a longggggg time I'll let you guys now how it works and it was only 7.95 a big can. And they also had what they called oem honda red paint the years said 88-89 no idea what the difference is but i didnt buy that. Got some oem honda black though It's called PJ1 coating paint so I'll see how that works. Ken

    Nice tires Scott.

Might get one of those for the front of mine. I don't think a matching Turf Buster will fit the front. Too wide.

By the way, thanks for the parts hook up over there. They have a nice place over there in Bartlett.

Been joing there for years. My dad and his friends walked in there in the summer of 85 and they all bought three wheels. We still by quads from there to day.
