throttle 200X

Can anyone out there tell me what a stock '83-'84 200X thumb throttle looks like? I've mainly seen one's with a plain black cap on top that does NOT say Honda on it. Then I can't tell if the lower housing & thumb arm should be bare metal silver or should be painted black.

I know by '85 the Honda throttles were all black and the top cap said "HONDA" on it.

Is the underside of the throttle silver (bare aluminum)?

The bottom part is black.

Hmm, interesting. I guess the one I have is the stock throttle, but the bottom is now silver. Well, part of it at least. I guess it has just worn off. Looks like it was anodized then.

its the same as the 85-86 200s as far as i know

I also have an all black throttle that is all aluminum, I think, and has "HONDA" in raised letters on the top cap. I know I've seen these on '85 250SX's Can't remember what I had on my '85 350X. It was way too long ago.
