    '84 KX250 Jug/Tecate Jug

    This is a OEM cylinder from an 84 KX 250 dirtbike. It will bolt onto your 84/85 Tecate trike to give a drastic hp increase due to the better porting. You need to use the KX piston and all the Tecate small parts will work like circlips and such. Stock Tecate head will work with the KX cylinder as well.

    ***If you buy this do not hone it!!! It is Nikisel plated and all you need do is clean it, oil the cylinder wall and install with new KX rings.***

    That is not a kx250 cylinder. It is a tecate cylinder. You can tell because the kx250 cylinder uses a triple port exhaust. Meaning there are 2 small eyebrow ports above and to the left/right of the exhaust port. The one posted is mislabeled.

    As far as More advanced porting, i find that to be BS...even the new 05-06 KX250 STill only puts out 42HP.

    Sorry but it isnt a kx cylinder. I bought NOS stock 84 KX250 cylinder in the box from Kawasaki for my tecate, and i have seen several others. The kx cylinder has a triple port exhaust which makes different and more powerful then the tecate cylinder.

    sorry...83 kx...i should clarify. the difference is that the 83 has a bridged intake and not a bridged exhaust. the 83 is similar to a tecate in apperaance but will provide a better mid range.
