It's NS - New Stock! hahaha... No.. $55 isn't bad... Service Honda sells them for like $47 or so... you could still get them last I knew. It's what I have on my 82R... looks nice on the old school. An actually, they never came out with the black ATC ones until 1983, so actually, speedos were not made for the 81-82R technically... they only had the tripmeter until 83. What are you going to put it on? Did you find a tripmeter kit for your 300R?

I got a speedo setup for my 85 200X and the speedo has the tripmeter knob broken off(I knew that when I bought it) so I figured this was a good replacement. Do you have an extra tripmeter kit for the 81-82 Rs? Scratch that, that bike is pure speed and the speedo wouldn't read when the front tire is in the air!

Yeah there is absolutely nothing wrong with those speedos. They changed to those in the late 80's and they are still available at honda like stated. But if you are good, you just take the face off and make a template of the ATC one and put it on there. Only costs around 40$ to do that. Ask me how I know.....ROFL

It's just a speedo. Here's the link to the auctin. He still has 3 left. I put the part # from the box into Service Honda and it didn't come up as anything.

Yup... those red faced speedos are pretty cool for the older trikes. I prefer the 'ATC' speedo for the 350x, liquid R's, and Big Reds.

Actually I find that on my 350x 70 is not even close to what the speedos should go up to
