40+ on an ATC200. Never would have guessed.

I got a new GPS for Christmas and I've been having a blast with it. Promptly went out on my 200 and found out that I can reach 41.9 mph befor I run out of room in my yard. I think that 45 is possible but the motor is revving awfully high as it is. I also had the tires aired up pretty tall. All I need now is a GPS mount for the old Honda.

I asked a while back what the top speed on a 200x is i was told They have stock 15 HP,top speed is about 62 mph. SO i owuld sespect that you shoudl be able to get more then 45mph out of that bad boy

Mine is a basic ATC200. Not even on the same page as an X. I think my 200 had 10hp new.

hey thats cool, I have a GPS I was thinking of finding a way to mount it on my 83 250R

I think your right on your guess of about 45mph, my friend was driving along side me for a while and said I hit 45-46. not very accurate but it gives a pretty good idea

My 200 has a big bore exhaust but was geared down one tooth on the front.

Who told you that? STOCK they were like 11-12 hp.

41 is pretty good for an ATC 200. On a slight decline I can hit 45mph with my 200es.
