    14/38. but i'm going to back to a 40, it tops out to early.

    If you put a 40 tooth on the rear it'll top out even sooner!!
    A bigger sprocket on the back makes a slower more powerful bike while a smaller one makes it faster and less powerful. If it tops out too soon you need a smaller rear sprocket or a bigger front one!
