    Chain guide help

    I am trying to mount this chain guard up. does this look right to you guys? It looks like everythings kinda where it should be when the suspention is compressed, but it don't look right, I've tried it on there everywhich way...

    Looks good? Where is the wear on the plastic guides? That would be how I'd judge.

    Looks alot like the guides on many mountain bikes actually. Whats that top hole just below the chain on the top of the swingarm? Maybe fit another roller there to keep the chain tight on the sprocket?

    Its placed where the wear marks are, I think your right about a roller on top, good man! Thats what was missing....

    she should b turned so that the chain wears out the back of the bottom buffer first and the roller is for the top run of the chain. The sproket should b inbetween the 2 aluminum pieces, sothat it actually feeds the chain to the sprocket.
    had the same "chain buffer" on my RM 125

    not too sure about that one cause all the tension from the engine pull the chain tight on the top run...think the roller would bend, that would send your chain to one side...But i don't know for sure!

    Well I ended up getting rid of the bottom roller and going with this setup, this should work fine... thanks for the input guys...
