    200ES carb on a 110

I had a couple people ask me if it fit so tonight I had to change gas lines over so I decided to try. And the verdict is yes it bolts right on.

Now there are conditions. Yes it bolts on but the gasket you use if from the 110 needs to be opened about 2 mm with a dremel or anther tool. look at the pics. The first shows it where it lines up with the holes (notice the area at the bottom being cut off by the gasket. Now the second picture is one of the gasket moved down to where it isnt blocking anything on the bottom but now the top is cut off. I ran my camera dead just as I was ready to take a pic of it on the trike.

So in conclusion the 200es carb bolts right up. But in order to maximize air/gas flow you need to grind away a little bit of the 110 plastic gasket. I would have tried to run it on my trike tonight but with the bowl off and it not having a slow jet might have made it difficult

no, I dont have a slow jet so it wont run right if at all untill I do get one. Once I do get a hold of one I will try it however.

Hey 250sx, If you had to open up the carb insulator, did you have to open up the intake? The insulator is the same size as the intake manifold, you might want to check it out.

Wouldn't it make the 110 run terribly rich, at least if you kept the standard jets in? It's an almost 50% displacement decrease.

Yes you would need to rejet most likely so it didnt run too rich. And I'll check out the manifold here in a bit. the manifold I'll be putting on will be from an '83 110 if that makes a difference.

here is a pic of the carb on. I'll also get a pic of the air intake on too.

BTW its not on my trike. Mine isnt rusted as bad or as N rigged (look at the spark plug wire. thats right a john deer plug boot, metal wire and duct tape.)

Yep the air way fits on the carb and is actually loose just standing there. I dont have the airbox on however so there is no pressure holding it. here is a pic.

And the main jet on the 200 carb is a 95 and the 110 is a 88. So unless your doing some modding besides the carb you'll want to rejet.

And here is the field bomber this is on for measurement purposes.

I don't think that you'll be able to keep the stock jets even if you ARE modding it more. Unless your idea of modding includes boring it out to 170 cc's, enlarging the valves, porting all of the intake/exhaust areas, installing NOS... (that last one may have been a joke. Then again, maybe not )

I dunno, a k&N, pipe, no air box, high comp pistion with bore and you might make it to 93 or 95.
