    350X trailer hitch

I, finally, decided to make myself a trailer hitch for the beast, today. All it took was two *Edited*-bolts and a piece of 1/4 inch plate. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory, but I have to mention a couple of things. I made sure the metal plate extended over the struts on the swingarm a little bit, so the whole thing wouldn't rotate when upward pressure is on the 'hole' end of the plate. This is also designed to be used with a 2-wheel cart that is heavy in the back, so that the tongue pressure is upward. This hitch is not designed for any downward pressure. That issue would need to be addressed if anyone was to adapt this design for a ball type hitch, which would be easy enough. I just made it to work with my little yard cart I used with my riding lawnmower, because those cross-country trips to the woods for firewood were hell on my mower! I tried it out with some weight, and it works like a dream. Enjoy!

That is a shame because I did such an awesome job!

I think the site that is hosting the pics might have been down for a bit. I couldn't see them 20 minutes ago, now I can. Sometimes, you can right click the red x and select 'Show Picture' and it will load for you.

Pics no workie. Imagestation sucks and doesn't allow hot-linking anymore. Try hosting them somewhere else.

Well, hell. I just went by the instructions on the FAQ. I will try a different method. Thanks, for the heads up about imagestation.

I think I figured out one of the problems. I am trying to link from a ftp host now and my account has a letter 'you' at the beginning, which always gets translated into *Edited*, effectively breaking the link everytime. I don't know why imagestation links are not working on this site. They work on other sites just fine. I posted the same pics on another forum I belong to. You can check out the pics there, if anyone is interested.
