Why not go for a Predator? Nice quads, and it should be just as powerful as the 440ex. You should beable to find a used one for cheap. I know around here a 2004 will go for about $3500.

Why does it have to have a tricked out 440 kit? Shes on a 300ex now. Why not let her get used to the new larger quad and find out what its shortfalls are for her before spending a lot of money on stuff she may not need or want. In many cases, mods for racing are bad for trail riding and the other way around. With any bike, trike or quad, you should ride it long enough to identify its shortfalls for your type riding before spending money to correct them.

True but she is so picky when it comes to quads. I want her to have something that she can keep up with me and my Family when we go to the Dunes and trails this first of spring. No way a stock 400ex will keep up so thats why i want a tricked out one. My friend has a 2002 stock 400ex and its quick but not fast like my Bro's bikes and mine. Thats why i thought a 440 kit would be good for her. She already rides my bike and loves the power of it but she doesnt like the ride of it because it bumpy. Thats why i thought a 400cc bike would be good because they tend to have decent suspension and they're light. She could actually move it if it got stuck. I'm now very positive i'm going twoards the suzuki ltz400 because its liquid cooled and its DOHC with reverse. It makes around 29HP stock and i was looking at ct sonic there pipe makes 37HP Jetted and with an open air box. Where the 400ex only makes like 27.9 With the same mods. She can hang with us better with the Z i Think. I would just get her another Raptor but she thinks its ugly also the same with the Predator. She's so Picky on looks and i dont get it. The DS650 doesnt sound that good either. Its 500lbs no reverse Harder to turn and handle and manover. If it gets stuck she's screwed untill we help her. I just dont think that big of abike is for Her just yet anyways. She just liked the way it looked and then she wanted it. I think the Z will be fine for her for now and a while anyways.

    the newer DS's have reverse.

there fast and ride nice, but again there big as big as a KFX or a scrambler and can be handful in tight trails you get used to it quick after a close tree encounter or too.

the 400ex's are as reliable as they come but the Z is faster.
