    Question Alt 125

Friend just gave (can you believe it) an '83 Alt 125 that had been sitting in the field for 2 years. Cleaned the carb, got it running. However, changed he oil and found what looks like a C washer-possibly from the camshaft-in the bottom of the oil tray. This is the 1st three wheeler ever owned-any ideas on what to do next??
    Please help

Before you tear into it get a shop manual. A nice gasket kit and all the items for a good tune up and you should be on your way. Don't forget the metric tools.

Are you sure the C-washer is from the cam? Do you have a picture of the "C" Washer? I only ask this because I do have a microfiche for this machine and can compare the part to see where it actually does go. I can also give you some advice on what to check / do to fix it.
