    TF 05 Media Question

Does anyone know the status of TF 05 media? I was just daydreaming about it yesterday and am anxious to see the MX races on film. Just wondering when it will be out and how progress is coming with it. Is there a sign up somewhere on the site where I can request a copy when it comes out?

Last I heard TimSr was having some issues burning all the photos to a disc without an error or somethin. I've got the final cut and copy of Nathan (03OrangeShee)'s video right here. I haven't done much with the video from my camera. I took some from the group picture and Brandon (3leggeddog) got nearly all of the awards ceremony. I wanted to put both on one disc but it wont work

Was Nathan's master copy "clean" He was kind enough to send me a copy of what he had, but the quality was decent to poor on some sections. I'd like to have some media from the last one before the next one starts too.

I'll be glad to work on getting the photos to disc. I've got a dual layer DVD burner. I doubt the video and pics will be more than 8GB. I don't have any video mastering skills, but Speedbump might be able to lend a hand.

I thought it was pretty good quality wise considering the original format is an analog tape, cant do a whole lot with it. TimSr has all the pictures on file, I've only got what I took and 1-2 other peoples. I'll see if I can get something done with the footage on mine. And Hey Brandon, hahaha it should be fine. I dont even recall anything THAT bad?

I think I had the camera turned the other way when you went overboard. Glad you didn't get hurt.

Have you converted the analog video to digital yet?

I'm pretty sure Rhuel, I had to get it on the computer and edit first which wasn't to bad. But then encoding it to go on the DVD was insane. It took my computer which has an FX51 2.2Ghz CPU (Socket 940, more or less an Operton) with 2GB of ram and a 10k rpm hard drive like 16 hours to encode the video. It was crazy.

What needs done to the Raw Video? I may be able to clean it up some, but not real good at the "artistic" portion of editing. BTW, my X2 4200 LOVES crunching video! LOL!!! Bring on the GIGs!!! I got a D/L DVD Burner too and have a few D/L Disks laying round.. I could possibly convert it over to DVD from CDs. Let me know if ya need a hand. I'll see what I can do.
