    I tried buying this set almost 2 years ago when he had his R up for sale. I think I offered him almost what I paid for them, maybe $50 less. I wasn't even going to bid on them figuring they would go for 4 or 500 but in the last couple hours decided to go for it. They are stainless but for what you have to give for them now they should be made of gold. I think I got these fairly cheap considering what the last set went for.

    i just do not see what the big deal is. for the $$$ you could have a nice, new, shiney, and STRONGER axle. all those are good for is bending a weak old stock axle. complete waste of $$$ if you ask me.
