    250sx questions

    what is the thing on the right side of the motor,it says increase,decrease?is it a external clutch adjustment?

    also,these things are auto clutch right?what the cable and linkage down there by the foot peg?parking brake?

    will some one post pics of the sx wiring,how it's ran.anyone doing a rebuild,or work on thier bike.i need to see how it's all routed.

    its just to increase and decrease the clutch grab. if it feels fine and works good dont mess with it, when you start to feel the clutch not hooking so well then increase it, or if its to much decrease it, that screw bairly even turns, so dont think its stuck.

    Is it by the right footpeg? If it is, its the foot brake.. I think that is what you are talking about, atleast?

    well the cable comes down from the handlebars,and into a linkage down by the foot peg,on the right side.i can't tell what it does.

    Just from memory it comes off of the left handle bar and its the bottom cable on the lever which is for the reverse mechanism.

    Does the linkage look like the one in the first pic that my fingers are on? If so thats your reverse cable.

    Here are some pics of the wiring. Sorry its so dirty but I didnt have much time after playing in the mud to clean it up tonight. The CDI connects to the battery box BTW. The side toward the front if I'm not mistaken.

    No I do not have a pressure washer. Hopefully tomorrow I'll show you why it got so dirty.

    And I said in another thread, that number 4 pic in my sig is as clean as you will see it till trikefest.
