OMF Skidplates

Well I just called OMF 124.95 for the front engine skid plate for the 350x, and 114.95 for the 83-84 250r engine skidplate. He says they have not made them in a very long time. They don't make the seat latches anymore but said they would if there was enough interest in them. I'd definitely like the seat latch for my 350x, I always toss a bungee on there just to make sure I have a seat and fender when I get to where ever I'm going. Its cool these guys would start making parts again if there is interest.

I wonder if they'd consider making 86 KXT swingarm skidplate again??

The guy I talked to said if they made it before they could make them again, as far as the skidplates go...

Last time I talked to them they just sent me their last 350x engine skidplate and a swingarm skid for my '86 KXT Calfab for free since they didn't make them anymore and the guy just dug them up. He told me that any new runs would be like a 10-unit minimum.

I'll take a 350x engine skid and I'm sure Mike will take one too. Looks like we'll be able to get an order for 10 no problem.

I have a omf latch for my 250r and definetly get one for a 350x, I'd love one for my 86 200x. By they way, heres a real cheap trick to making the seat not come off, drill a hole in the bottom lobe of the seat latch(the part the goes below the frame) and put a hitch pin in it. Its saved my seat/rear platics a few times. I was really pissed the first time I rode my 85 250r and the seat came flying off on the rr tracks with a new seat cover and new fenders.

Well call and order one. The guy I talked to yesterday did'nt request an order of ten, he just said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to have them made since they were not on the shelf. I'm ordering one for my aircooler.
