    Trikefest...Kid Friendly?

    Just wanted to know what the atmosphere is like at Trikefest. I hope to attend if my 225DX is in proper condition. My son is 8 years old and has an LT50. He has never had the experience of a real place to ride (we live just outside of Chicago) and I thought this would make for a hell of a Father - Son weekend. I just don't want to expose him to like a big beer fest full of drunks pee'n themselves and stuff like that. (I do enough of that on my own) Please comment. Your experiences are welcome also.

    Also, is anyone familiar with a car rental agency that offers trailer hitches on their vehicles (mainly pickups). I want to bring all my toys (CR125, YTM225, LT50), but am short on space. I tow a small utility trailer with my stupid saturn. So I was hoping to rent a pickup for the weekend.

    I have a 13 and a 8 year old ( will be 9 before TF ). TimSr and Trike brings thier boys as well as other kids that show up. I know my kids, TimJR, and Hunter have a GREAT time at Haspin. It would be SUPER to have you and your boy show up. He will have at least 2 riding buddies close to the same age. I am betting he would have the time of his life. I know it's all that my kids talk about for weeks afterwards.

    We go out of our way to keep it that way. My son was 7 at his first one, and is 11 now. There are those who like to tip some brews, but thats mostly at night in individual smaller groups. We always hope and try to remind people to watch their vocabulary when kids are around, but most people use common sense and courtesy. We encourage people to bring families, especially kids, and we even have a Mini-quad class for MX which is the only quad class for motocross. We also encourage kids to run the drag strip as we always have other kids on mini quads and some oversized adults on little 110's and 125's looking for people to race.

    My boys had alot of fun at trikefest 05. They got to race with other kids in the mini quad class. They also did some drag racing & trail riding. There is a big mixture of riding at haspin. I hope there are more kids this year. It's a blast watching the kids race

    Quick Question... whats teh female attendance like at trike fest i talked to my Gf about it but she doesnt want to end up chillin at guy guy mans man get together. is teh event chick friendly and are there many other women chicks ect at teh event. shes afraid of the whole guys gawkin and caterwallin

    Boy that's a tough one. I know there were several women there last year, but I suppose if she's not into riding, within 8hrs she'd be bored out of her mind. (then you'd go home)

    Yeah in that case ive asked a couple different chicks to go
    we growem right out here in NY lol i know several chicks that are into ATV action and campin lol when they get bored o teh races they can just take to their atvs and go riddin

    Hopin to accumulate a big group from out area
