Might be a bit long but I had to share. I came across a modded 01 kx250, first dirtbike I ever got on! The guy I bought if from bought it in 02, his second time on busted up his shoulder blade and shattered his collar bone. It sat in his KITCHEN, with an occasional start, for 3 years so this thing was NIIIIICE (I knew the guy so it wasn't a bs story). I loved the speed of it but since I do a lot of gravel road riding I was afraid I was gonna hurt myself. A guy at a local pawn shop has a 250r for sale for 2000. It looks rough but its supposed to be fast. I offered to trade straight up. He said he didn't think he could get as much out of my kx. Thats cool, no hard feelings, so I put the bike up for sale. Sold it for 2100 in 3 days and thats how I came across this sweet @$$ tri-z I've got now. Even had several hundred bucks left over to spend on goodies for it.
