Is $2300 for a 2003 400EX a Deal?

As you may know I landed a 87 250SX a few weeks ago. I am just about done restoring it now. The guy I bought it from also had a 03 400EX that he bought off a State Trooper. Its in pretty good shape. Couple scratches on the plastic and the tires on the front have about 25% of the tread. Rear has maybe 50%. Its a pretty clean ride other than being dusty. Nothings bent or broken. Has been rejeted etc. It will fly. I dindnt ride it, but the guy that owns it did and showed me what it would do. Im debating on getting it. If I do I would have to sell the 87 SX. I figure I could get very close to that price on ebay for the SX, being that its clean and a 87. What do you guys think. Im about 6'3" and the SX does feel a little small, but its ok. I know that the 400EX is quite a bit bigger. What do you guys think. I know its a good price. I dont think the guy is too bright that owns it. Doesnt know what bikes in general are worth. He had no clue on the SX. No clue. I think he needs the money for some weed. LOL

Definetely go with the 400ex. Thats a good price also my friend down the street just got a 2002 400ex stock for $3000. So thats a good deal. I paid $2300 for my 01 Raptor and that was a steal. 400ex also have great modding potential. And plenty of parts to customize them.

$2300 is definately a good price! Does it have an aftermarket pipe and stuff? Mine is an 02 with alot of stuff on it and I would expect $3000 for it.
