    Talking new SX pics...

Took some new pics of the SX , after I put on the new rear tires/rims setup and cleaned 'er up a bit... and one of the pics is the brake hub that fit in the new rim, it DOES work huffa! Only need a couple minor touches now, the Front brake plate which I have to get, gotta paint the front rim, get a new exhaust (preferably Supertrapp!), and paint a couple little things like skidplates.. exhaust header if I have to etc.. and of course those damn ignition/dash left-right cover caps, LOL.. this thing was the best purchase I've ever made, awesome machine.

    Peace,

    Jordan Hinze

How do you like those Sur-Trak tires? Are they good in all types of terrain?

the tires are indeed maxxis sur-traks, the rims are Douglas .190 competition grade aluminum rims, 'Red Label'. I get all my tire/wheel kits premounted with PJ1 sealant from rockymountainatv.com, great deals and service. The sur-trak is one of the best tires I've used.... even beats the high-priced brother the ITP mudlites.. whats neat about these is they show right on the tire that you can switch the rotation on them by just switching left wheel to right and vice versa and they switch to a good sand tire. I have it on the regular mud/dirt setup right now cause I dont got any sand to ride in. They have excellent traction, will make it through any mud without getting stuck... and they still allow you to give 'er a good roost. I'd HIGHLY reccomend this tire. The douglas rims seem great... I went all out and got the highest grade aluminum rim they had, so I shouldnt have any problems with those. Thanks for all the comments guys, keep em comin...

    Thanks,

Yeah I'm either gonna get the maxxis all trak's or the sur traks...I like the pattern on the all tracks too and have heard many good things about them.

yep... 8x8 rims. The all-traks look good but I preferred the tread pattern on the sur-traks, looks mean and the tread is very aggressive, I need it to make it through some real nasty stuff here in CT, lol... especially with all this rain we've been having. I actually ordered GBC dirt devils originally, but rocky mountain called me and said they are out of the 22x11x8 size of them until july... so I changed to the trusty sur-traks, I have had them before so I KNEW they'd be great.
