    tri moto125 questions

i just picked up a 83-85 tri moto 125 today for $100. its in pretty good shape, it was sitting for 3 years and still started up w/ no choke on the 2nd pull. it needs a few little things tho, i need a choke cable but cant seem to find one anywhere, are there any good sites out there for parts on this bike? also i need the seat latch. thanks a lot if someone can pint me in the right direction.

i was also pretty much just lookin for anything i should kno bout it like what kind of gear oil and the such

i took a quick shot of it when i just got home
ill put up a few more when i get some tires on it and clean it up a little bit

Yamaha stills has choke cable for around $40, The seat latch you can get at a motorcycle wrecker. Your trike looks to be in fairly good shape, I've seen alot worse, good luck.

Do you have the choke cable?---Is it missing or broken?---If its frozen---your in luck---Coil it up and dump it in a bucket of kerosene for a day or two----good as new----otherwise --any small piece of bicycle brake cable will do----Dont spend a ton of cash just yet---As far as starting with no choke after sitting---it has to be sooooooooo rich for that to happen--and carbs on those machines are very picky-so make sure it runs well before spending the cash . Ingenuity and a few bucks -may save you a load of money down the road.---That appears to be an 82--Look at the vin---Is it 5V6-.............?

bikebandit.com should help you with some parts you need. if all else fails about your choke cable, a sure redneck solution is a dime size hole drilled into the back of the airbox for some good ol' ether.
