    I need help.

Ok maybe you guys have had some experiences with burglers. Well heres my story. Today this kid comes up to my house that I havent seen in 7 years. He asked if I or my brother was home. My grandmother said no. So he walks up to my garage to scope the place out. I have a few fourwheelers out on the side of it. So I'm up there working on my bike, so he comes into my garage acting all cool, hung out, then said he was leaving. Next thing I know I went outside to do something and one of the four wheelers is half way up this little hill that leads into the woods. I was just sitting on the thing 5 minutes prior to this and it was no where near the hill. So now I'm pissed. Got on my RM250 and took it for a rip. I come back to find it in a different position. I can go on and on, but to make a long story short, the kid walks by a few more times to see if I was still in the garage, then finally walks down my road. I am beyond mad. So my question is what should I do? Go out there and wait for them to show up tonight to break into my garage? Take a baseball bat to there heads? Sorry for rambling. I am POED.

BTW. The RM is nice and locked up inside my garage with my grandmothers car parked infront of it.

That is screwed up! Tell the police to come wait out there an hide at night, or tell them to keep a CLOSE eye on it for a couple nights.

I would definetly get the police involved, In no way would I advocate violence, BUT Just be careful that you don't break any laws yourself. I would if you cannot store them inside chain the rascals together, disable them some how, remove the plug, or cdi, etc. Next time one of these so called friends stop by, don't be afraid to speak up bro. Most jerks like this just need a good scare. I feel sorry for you, I grew up in a place like that were you had to lock everything down, and you never knew when you returned what would be missing. Sounds to me like a bunch of Punk Kids that need to be straightened out. I would say a good old fashioned ass whopping is in line.

Yeah and I know this kids back ground. Hes a no good son of a B. Stealing, knife fights, drugs, ect. The whole time he was here he was like " I dont steal things anymore". Blah blah blah. He wouldnt let the subject go. I'm a 17 year old kid. I know how his mind works. I know he was just putting on a act so when he does steal something I would think it wasnt him. This kid must of thought I was an idiot. I also know why he couldnt get it in the woods. The thing doesn't roll very good .... Nice try, SUCKER!

Get the police involved. If you have to leave them outside the garage, lock all the quads together with a chain, if he couldn't move one, he can't move them all.

I want to catch him in the act first. These cops don't do anything unless you have a witness. Maybe my friend and I will sit outside tonight with a cell phone handy.

id say get a friend and watchout for the night, or if you want to nail the sucker, make like a "trap" and put the wheeler in a posisition that would be easy to snag, and watch it... i dont know just throwing ideas..

Yeah, get the police involved, and waiting outside with a cell phone would also be a good idea.

Maybe you can get it on film, do you have a cam corder? Make sure if you do set a trap, put it in bright light so the camera can identify him. I woiuld use a non running with all the expensive parts off of it. Maybe if you have an old junk one, clean it up make it look running and put it under a spotlight with your cam caorder set up.

Find a good hiding place and video tape him messing with it. Then get the Police involved. Video tape don't lie.

I have security camera's at the shop that has come in handy more than once.

Duct tape razor blades in key places, look carefully at how the door has to be opened.. handlebars grabbed.. etc.. and then carefully place the blades in the right spot.

Then you simply follow the blody trail and you can also contact the local hospital or clinic for anyone in for stiches !!!!

Thanks for the ideas. Maybe friday I'll stick a quad out in the open and see if he comes by. Then I'll take some pictures of him.... Good news, he never showed up. I'll still keep an eye out. I bet he'll be around friday. Other good news. The weather is on my side. Were getting a good snow storm saturday night. I'd like to see him push a quad through 1 foot of snow
