Ok....... Im in the process of choosing tires for my Z and im looking around at the selections there are, Im looking at the sizes and it seems there is more choice for a 9" wheel than there is for an 8"
So I go and measure my wheel and it comes up as 9" exactly Outer lip to outer lip, but the tire that is on the wheel is marked 22 x 11 x 8! WTF!
Am I measuring the wrong place on the wheel?

I know when I ordered tires they were 20-11-9's. So I know for a fact I got 9's. Hope this helps!

Its not measured at the outer lip, but where the bead seats. That is the bead measurement.
There are a lot more choices in 9" tires than in 8", but you have to go to a different rim. You might look at some tire/rim combos from rockymountainATV. Z bolt pattern is 4/100, same as Blaster which also came with 8" rims.

holeshots, klaws, holeshot new sx, turf tamers,shredders,mud sharks,dirt dogs,fast trekker,x-driv, theres lots of choices! or switch your rims to a 86 9" rim and it opens your slection or get banshee hubs and rims and run 10" tires.good luck!!! been there done it! lol
