OK i hear people talking about stage 1 and stage 2 jet kits.... What is the difference?? I thought a main jet was a jet... change the size and go... but then again i gues sim wrong?

Well, it really has to do with whatever a certain manufacturer says they are. With Polaris two strokes, it means the difference between some sort of porting with a clutch kit, pipe, reeds and a carb (stage 2) or stock porting with the same mods. The stages are really horsepower limits to a certain level. 4 strokes usually have the differences between Stage 1 & 2 by adding a cam to a good pipe and airbox mod and maybe a carb, but I really think its just a way to sell whole jobs in stages by saying you have certain bragging rights.
