You heard of a KLT200 for sale...... but the guys selling has said it has no fire?
This actually means it has no spark, this could be anything from the stator, faulty wiring to the CDI. The most expensive of these parts is the CDI an im sure though the site you could get one for $50 Max

Finding CDI's for these things is like picking teeth out of a chicken, make sure you know what you are getting into before you buy it 200 bucks turns into alot of time and money to track down and fix electrical issues with these KLT's.

There fun trikes tho and everything except the electrical system is built very well![]()

Do you have any mechanical / electrical skills? If you don't a KLT is not the way to go, especially one you know has issues. If it is a stator issue I have 2 spares, if its wiring I have a spare top end wiring kit, coil, etc I'll do what I can to help you out. Kawasaki still sells CDI's for about 400.00 CDN for an 86 Bayou -it's the same unit as a KLT. I have a couple KLT's with more than 60 hours of skilled wrenching to resolve their issues, one with 100+ hours and it still doesn't run right; do you have the time and patience to put in that much into a 25 year old trike?
