How to get off Bearing race on 84 125 M bottom of tube

I got the new bearings and it was a disaster. I got all races and stuff off the frame and front forks except the Bottom Bearing rest that is at the Base of the center tube on the fork. How do you get this part off so I can get my 125 m back to normal? I tried to take a pic but it seems my cam is messed up. Because of this my front end is barely on with no washers and hardware from the tripple tree. So therefore I cant ride.

I think we used a dowel, and tapped it a few times with a to get that from my 110. May work for you as well.

They make a special puller for pulling these bearings. I can't remember the name of it, but I do have one at the shop. If your were close by you would be welcome to use it.

Try a chisel to pound it up off the stem or use a dremel and cut most of the way through and use a chisel in the cut to break the race. Once you break it it will expand and slide right off, or my favorite is heat it with a torch and it will expand and pound it off. Good Luck

ned to get her done I bought that Big Red

Well I got to get this done so I can sell her. Im getting the money tomorrow and the guy is delivering the Big Red Fri or Sat. Im pumped, but im spending money I dont have for a couple of weeks. But for $600 for a nice Big Red that only needs a tail light and headlight im all over it.

Looks like the idiots at Sportmann will get the Job to get that off the 125 M front end. Unless Howdy is down for the Job. Id rather send it to him and have it done right.

if you dont care about the bearing coming off its pretty easy. Get a sharp chisle, and beat on it until it comes off or breaks. If your trying to reuse it though...it gets tricky.

well I just spent 50 bucks on the bearings

The bearings are good and new. I just need to get that bottom part off so The front end will be correct. I might have to go old school and bash and crash that part. I would reather have it done right though.
