    quadzilla head gasket question!

Well i have an air leak some where in the top end of my 89 quadzilla. I bought a top end gasket set off of ebay and it just got here. It is K&S Technologies incorporated. My question is, should i use something like high-tack on the gaskets or should i just put them in with nothing on them? I know that quadzilla are known to blow out gaskets so thats why i'm asking. Thanks.

i don't use anything when i install a head gasket. you have an 89, so you should have nothing to worry about with a head gasket blowing. just make sure you torque it correctly.

Stick with the oem gaskets, they are much better! The k&s ones are pretty poor quality. Put the gaskets on dry no need to cote them.

High-Tack permtax gasket spray works wonders, i use it on every head gasket i do and have never had a problem.
